Is this tempting or am i just mad to get a HTPC case

Been nosing about the lian li site which is never a good plan an spotted Lian Li PC-C60

http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product...25&ss_index=62

Am i losing the plot in wanting a HTPC that can take the hardware in my sig? Cooling wise its very similar to what i have now just it looks very tasty and could be an interesting base for a mod. I know my CPU cooler is too tall but that can be sorted quite easily and i can shoehorn my GPU in easily enough. What do people think? Could it be good or am i just crazy?

If it feels right and you can afford it then why not? It'll be like going back to the mid-90s before towers were popular!

Feels right but I think id end up wanting something more fun. Id love a cube case but there's no normal ATX ones about their all mATX or ITX.

Cube ATX would be huge.

Currently rocking a Silverstone LC17, similar size to that. But mine is used as a media PC and sits in a unit under the tele, fits in very nicely.

I just need to get a low profile after market CPU cooler as this is too loud... and a couple of quiet 80mm fans.

If you want me to talk you out of it I'd say that it probably won't be great for cooling hot components compared to a decent tower case.

If you want a modding project you could convert your Dragonlord so that it lies on its side like an old school desktop. It'll be much cheaper

This isnt going well, my graphics card fits, and looks small in there

Why you so tempting silly case! Anyone able to recommend a normal case that will hold my sig. Note the GPU is nigh on 30cm. Smallish windows always welcome.

Probably a silly question, but have you had a good look here? It's by no means exhaustive, but reading through a few reviews will give you a good idea of what to look for.
