As Mother Board is a x58 t3eH8.
Installed is Win7 64Bit

I try to get 2x Geforce 8400GS paralell to run.
Sofar with one Installed and driver "296.10-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-english-whql"

If i install the second comes follow fun

Is the second card works?
Try swapping your currently installed GPU, with the other one, and try. Does it work?
Can you please provide us with your FULL system configuration, and power supply model and wattage?

Your motherboard has a 8-pin ATX connector. Did you plug the appropriate 8-pin connector? Or you plugged a 6-pin instead?

Also the Geforce 8400GS does NOT support SLI mode. So you won't get any parallel benefits, other than being able to connect an additional monitor (no games on it).

Power supply is a 550W , connect to the 8 Pin Socket on the board.

As you ask I have test both GPU's. WORKS as Single
I have also test the combination of all 3 PCIE Slots.

Its all time same effect. Boot Menu start Win7 and he do a Restart.
Next I have try to remove Power consumer. Mean CD rom and second HDD.
same effect.

One think i have found in the Manual for Power.
The 1st and the 3rd PCIE Connector has on the top of the Slot also a 4 Pin 5/12V input!
Its is in the manual written if use 2 grafic card better to connect this to the Power supply.
I have to check where it is and where is the cable.

As info: before was a Radeon HD4800 Installes ( was gone in the Nirvana ).
Gaming is not a reason for me . I need the system with 2 VGA and 2 DVI for Development and demos. Thats all.

Hello

sooo i check little deeper.

if its become to start Windows in grafic mode i get follow Post code:
CF 1 Insufficent DRAM voltage -> Increase DRAM voltage
2 Incompatibe Memory modules -> remove/reinstall DRAM Modules
3 Overclocking Tigth DRAM timing (system unstable) -> load default DRAM speed
4 Bios Issue -> Update Bios

DRAM Speed is on Auto
DRAM Voltage is in 1.56 V

3 Banks , each has 2 DRAM slots. Use all 3 banks with one 4GB Module in the green socket
Kingston 4GB PC3-10600 CL0 240 -Pin Dimm

hmmmmmmmm. looks like funny.
I have also try with Optimize Bios default .
And drive with only one Module 4GB
