cant get the at symble key to work
Hi guys, i sold my xps i7 laptop as the wife was only using it for facebook, so bought her an acer aspire 7720 thing it i cant use my email as i cant get the at symble working, i tried using shift and number 2 but no joy, the laptop is set for english uk not usa, any ideas guys

Does nothing come up when you press shift and '? What comes up if you try shift and 2, the speech marks?

Hi matey, if i press shift and number 2 all i get is number 2 no speach marks and if i press shift and ' all i get is ' nothing else, im thinking the shift keys are broke

Very strange... Have you had a nose in "Ease Of Access Center" in control panel in case a usability option like sticky keys is on or something. If not, you may have to resort to the on-screen or an external keyboard for the time being until you can find a solution. I'd be very surprised if both shift keys are faulty...

sticky keys is un-ticked matey, and both shift keys are not working, im gonna send it back and get a refund, what a joke eh lol
