My Glass & Steel Orange Graphite 600T
No time to finish someone that ...
It's a lot that I'm mentally preparing and planning ... and I have not completely finished. But I'm so excited and I want to make share you my mod for the second time. This is my second mod. In this mod I will use mostly glass and steel: here too, as the 800D, the order of the day will be the total emptying the hdd cages, and everything else is "original" in the interior of the case. The steel structures will be used to "carriers" which support, precisely, the elegant glass panels. This design is one that I'm still developing and is one that most fascinates me: indeed, I can recreate it at my leisure, the internal structure of the case, primarily to fit the HW and LCS, which I will integrate into mod. This mod will not only aesthetic, but also performance and LCS & HW, aspects that I try not to be underestimated. The hardware components and the LCS will be defined later, as they will reveal the various phases and aspects, which up to now I definitely planned. Of course you know me, then, even in this mod, there will be many many upheavals, because I already know me and I'm very crazy. In this period of my life is really the modding enjoy myself in a way such that I struggle every day not to think or what else to churn out new ideas to apply to the mod: I assure you that it is not easy then to realize all ideas, primarily because some are quite not "built", on the one hand, however, I have so many, I should take half a day each day of leave to be able to throw down some sketches. However, passing to the point, the conditions are: I can tell you guys, expect a lot from your Dave! As a first taste will put pictures of case covered by the mod to watch closely, that Corsair provide me kindly. Thank you guys!!!
Unfortunately in this last two weeks, I didn't make any design of my mod. However, on Saturday morning, I went to Ybris Cooling and I retired my order...with a seven near two zeros...and the game is made! My wallet is still crying now...but my brain is very happy!!! I show what I bought below. The liquid cooling system is not complete, and in the next weeks I'll buy the items to complete it!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

What are you saying? I'm receiving and buying some parts of the mod, so in a few days I will start to work...I don't understand what you wrote. The project log contains the phase of show the components and the next phase to "build" the mod! I don't only show the parts, now I haven't receive all components...what do I mount or start to make?

Hello guys! Today I continue to show the others materials that I bought from Ybris Cooling. You can see on the left Ybris distilled water that I’ll need fot the graphic card’s loop; on the right you can see Mayhems Clean for the cpu+ram loop (cooled with passive radiators). The choice fell on Mayhmes precisely to the fact that having mixed materials (aluminum and copper) in the loop, it’s necessary to use a liquid that prevents and avoid galvanic corrosion.
I bought also the fantastic ModSmart’s PCI connectors, made by an amazing orange, perfectly the same colour of the tubes and motherboard. Close to these connectors, you can found two T-connectors, two ball valves and two fillports, which placed on top of the case, allow me to fill easily the two tanks. You can see also four led stripe long 60 cm and six long 30 cm of Phobya and another top for Laing since the last time I took only one. You can also note the little packets of orange leds already coupled with resistances, over the PCI connectors. I’ll use these leds to replace the original leds of the 200 mm fans. But let's talk of the passive radiators: as you well remember (I hope hihi) I have already bought the passive of Alphacool, named Cape Cora. When I bought the others passive radiators I didn’t realize that they aren’t thread. The problem is that if I try to thread them, I’ll lose the anodization, and the galvanic corrosion would occur immediately. So, without becoming discouraged, I bought six individual elements, threaded 1/4GAS for both sides of course, and I'll use these. The only drawback is that they are gold, and then I’ll give a good painted with the paint suitable for radiators, so that it will not adversely affect the heat exchange with the external environment. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
