Hi guys!

Eterne is my new scratch build. Aim is to make it rather compact for an ATX-case - volume should be around 20 liters. I also love the 90° motherboard mounting so it will be featured here.

For hardware I'm reusing my old components plus some new ones:
MB: Crosshair IV Formula
CPU: Phenom II X6 1090T + possibly H100i?
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
GPU: Radeon HD7850
SSD: Vertex 2 120GB + Vertex 3 120GB
PSU: Strider Plus 750W

And now onto the start without any longer stories..

Just some 3mm and 5mm aluminum here for starters.. And by the way, everything in this project will be hand built from aluminum.

Inverted standoffs for motherboard.. Installation is much easier this way.

If someone is interested in dimensions, those are currently about 410 x 310 x 158 mm. So rather tall compared to width and depth.

And onto the next part - PSU mount! I'm using offcuts for these parts and sanding scratches away takes ages.

L-profile in the back is for routing cables.

Until next time..

I got Himuro for SSDs - it should fit two SSDs easily and maybe even a third one. It's really drool worthy piece of hardware.

Zesti, great start to the worklog. I'll keep two eyes on this

Is it white acrylic which you are using as a canvas for your himuro shoot? Nice contrast!

Is it necessary to build a custom case? Is it necessary to watercool? Is it necessary to use LEDs? Well, no. It just looks great.

This is the graphics card I'm using.. Very modding friendly and the cover is real aluminum.

I will most likely paint the cover or at least paint the accent piece.. No red for this build.
