I can't afford the addons as I already pledged at $250. I will just have to make do with the Constellation. Maybe I should have pledged lower and gone for some other addons instead. The models, USB stick and blueprints I can live without. I pledged high as I wanted the game to be made - I needn't have worried!!

Not to worry - I will plod around in my big ship for a while before building up my own personal navy!

Not before there is an announcement that there will be cooperation between RSI and the Occulus team on proper support/integration. The Occulus brings a lot of tools into a single package that need to be adequately supported.

Having been one of the few to test the Occulus with the development team behind it sitting across the table, and being able to discuss the integration of it into future titles- it is quite obvious that there has to be mutual cooperation. The Rift performs quite well, I've been happy with what I've seen and used so far, though it takes a bit of getting used to, and can cause some "motion sickness like" feelings in some people.

Yes, we should have a Bit-Tech flotilla, with both trading and military arms. Best place to start would be to wait for all pledges to finalise and then compile a list of what people will be flying.

Voting round table is probably the best to be honest, avoids somebody making off with all the loot. I think we deserve a Bengal...

I finalised on a Constellation for trading and a Hornet for military use, plus a few extras.


As for Oculus Rift, I'm going to invest in a proper flight stick and throttle, plus pedals, rather than 3D.
