The price always starts out a bit high but comes way down over the lifetime of the drive. From what I've seen, this drive actually has performance which is comparable to the Samsung 840 Pro which is the current king of the hill. If they can keep a clean bill of health as far as reliability is concerned and can price this drive appropriately i.e. always a bit cheaper than the corresponding 840 Pro (as people will always pay a bit more for Samsung's great track record), I could see OCZ having a quite popular drive on their hands.

It look nice too. I always like OCZ (the old Titanium-series RAM in particular) and I'm in the market for one.
