Unlike EA , where you have a cubicle 4 feet by 3 feet , and are allowed out when developing for 2 toilet breaks + 2 drink breaks + 1 meal break per 9 hour shift , extended up to 12 hours per day.

Am I the only guy that isn't in a rush for hl3? Sure I'd like to play it before I die, but it'll be done when its done. Valve have a habbit of taking ages but always releasing quality.

So it has nothing to do with EA then...

This article is about Valve hiring two guys, they then add a little detail about advantages to working at Valve. At no point is EA mentioned.

Living near Valve, I've had occasion to check their job postings - there is always a posting for a psychologist, same as was so horrifying about PopCap and Zynga.

im in a rush cos im just getting older, and my pgametime is getting less and less with bills, work and other important life things. i dont want to play HL3 when i have 3 kids all under 3yrs and a job and wife who nags... so yeah, im in a rush. 10yrs plus minus is more than enough time for this game.

i do think it will be shown this year with their new steam box gabe has announced. yeah baby!
