Got me a nice package I was waiting for
![]() Yep a package from Nils. Not just for me this time as I was also working on a PSU of a friend. But I finally got my crimping tool. AND some orange (in your face) sleeving and some nice shade 19. I already have black so now I think I have all the colours I will need. I also received 12 of these. Yes 12. I love these fans and have always wanted to use them in a build for me. They will be used for the radiator(s) as well as general use. Later on I received a package from Samsung. They were so kind to send me a desktop kit of a series 830 64GB SSD. I have bought another one just like it to put into RAID. But I am also trying something different with one. More pictures of that later on. These things are not only very fast and reliable, but also fit my build perfectly in colour. I love them (and bought one for my regular PC as well). Thank you very much for arranging this SSD for the project Arafeh! :thumbsups I completely forgot about one package and I had to still make decent photos of another one. I will add them here both. First off the package from Xilence. They have a lot to offer but I already had a lot at the moment in time. But Bastian hooked me up with one (well accidentally two) HDD coolers to fit in a 5,25 inch bay. They are really nice looking. Stealthy and clean. And he sent me a few 92 mm fans for the back of the case. I will spray them black probably or black with a touch of orange. Then I can tell more about how silent they are. They look like quality fans though. Especially the single fan with the complete red inside. Looks very well put together and has kind of a cool design to it. Here are the pictures. Something went wrong in the warehouse so I ended up with 3 packages. 3 fans and 2 HDD coolers Thank you very much Bastian for your efforts to help this build out and with your great communication :thumbsups I also received an amazing box from Logitech. I did not know what they would sponsor the project with. Gladly Ben, Loes and Gezinus recognised this PC needed parts to operate it and since the hardware will be strong enough to play some serious games on it they provided the project with some serious gaming gear. A G19 gaming keyboard, a G35 surround headset and a G9X laser mouse. Needless to say....I was stunned  The mouse comes with a changable cover which means I will probably mod the looks of it to suit the build even more. I also cannot wait to get the keyboard to show the CPU Mhz and other important information. I am still thinking about the headset. I think it is moddable...but ruining it is amongst the possibilities so I might just leave it alone. ![]() They will work with the project very well as I also am planning to do a bit of benchmarking with games and in general to test this baby. Check out the pictures! (like I said I didn't have time to make decent pictures yet so I made a few today, there will be FAR better pictures made by a decent photographer later on in the end of the build). Thank you very much Ben, Loes and Gezinus for helping this project out! |

Here's another update.
And then FINALLY something arrived for the United States of Americana. Unboxing whooooooooooooo exiting!!!! What will it be? It is .... it is.... YEAH it is my DWOOD Murdermod style radiator mount he made for me. It is gorgeous. It is not a 100% copy. Mudermod also had the rad being removable from the bottom mount. This one is not removable. The idea is to have a low tunnel under the rad and fans. Together with the holes you can now put the fan wiring directly through the hole and cables are gone. They come out as one bundle at the end of the case / tunnel. So clean. Great design. I love it so much. Such a great idea by Murdermod and DWOOD does very good quality. Only .. it doesn't fit my TJ07  :madsmiley Due to my amazing measurements. I will need to take a few mm off the top to make it fit. I am such a dumb*ss  Man I was upset with myself. Oh well at least it will then fit. But now I have to work on this beauty. Then I couldn't stop myself anymore. I just HAD to see how it would end up. Grabbed a 3mm thick XSPC radiator I had laying around, 4 orange Xigmatek fans and the mount. I love it so much. That black with orange. |

I got in touch with the people from KFA2. After a meeting by their marketing employee (whom I explained my project and what my plan was) at HQ he got green light and he sent me the following package:
I just love unpacking things ![]() A reference GTX670 by KFA2. Awesome! They sent me a reference model knowing I wanted to create a full watercooled system. I didn't make any more pictures of the card itself because I wanted to keep it nice and spotless in it package. I will make a lot more pictures very soon when the waterblock and backplate will be ready for fitting. So don't worry ![]() What is this? The box is bigger than what I just unpacked. What kind of trickery is this? So I turned the box around to see what was going on. Only to find a second package in the same box. Every box I receive should be like this, double the surprise!! HOORAY!! ![]() I didn't make pictures of all that was in that side. It was a merchandising package containing stuff like pens, keyrings, various stickers, posters AND 3 awesome shirts. Not just a blanc shirt with a small logo. But a pretty well arted shirt. Cool enough to wear in public imo without feeling like a walking commercial. They're all sized M but I am 1 meter and 90 cm and it fitted fine to me. So it is more like a L at least as I usually wear XL sized shirts. Of course I am going to keep one to myself as I really like all the artwork of KFA2 in general and this shirt is no different. I want to thank KFA2 and especially Graham for helping this project. He also created the "Game hard, fold harder" line in the KFA2 type of font. How awesome is that? Not only did I put it in a banner, but it will also be used in the case itself. I designed something with it and it will hopefully find its way into the case (if physically possible). I also put the traditional KFA2 banner in here to show how I took a line from them and made it my own

I have told you earlier I completely miscalculated the hight of the bottom section of the TJ07 resulting in the beautiful rad mount to not fit.
But due to new calculations I had could probably fix the problem myself and wouldn't have to re-order one. I just needed to take a few milimeters from the top and then it would just...about....fit. Here is a picture after I chopped it. I almost had to cry modding such a well built piece ![]() Here is one after I painted the top to make it all black again. I know I will never see it when built in, but that is just how I am. Testfitting and another picture of the very nice mobo plate I did some measuring on exactly where it had to go after testfitting. Can someone tell me what went wrong in the following pictures? Got me a big pile of black 6-32 screws from the states. These should last me throughout the build I would think After fitting it (pictures later on because I also did something else) I sleeved some of the very nice orange led fans I have wanted for so long which will push (and some pull) the air through the radiators. This is just to show....how I feel about the readers of this buildlog ![]() And this is my oldest daughter. She always wants to help her dad (usually resulting in making a big mess and such). So since she also liked the orange sleeving a lot I decided to give her a piece to play around with. She decided she needed a few meters of heatshrink as well ![]() I love her so much

Alrighty, time for a new small update. Since I got the advice a rad with no fans is pretty muchy useless I went and installed the fans in the top. Man I love those fans. I also couldn't help myself, I had to testfit stuff just because I could even though I will need to take it apart again for sleeving of wiring and such. I like how it ended up. I also made some holes in the midplate for wiring behind the mobo plate and room for loads of wires and tubing inside the pillar. After that painting it black. But I forgot to take picture of it. The top grill looks pretty much flush now. There will be a cover over the 5,25 bays side. So no worries. Things are SLOWLY starting to take shape. But I need to buy me that mobo soon and some fittings
BTW the MDPC package is only partly for this build. The sleeving is mostly for a PSU I am sleeving for someone else. But the titanium grey I might incorporante. I ordered 10 meters so I could try them a bit and see if it works or not. |

Time for a small update.
I had this idea for 2 SSDs. One being a Samsung one (black and orange duh) and the other being the same but put it in a new casing. Full acryl with Samsung engraved and finally (if doable) 2 or 3 LED holes in the side to add either orange or white leds and highlight the brandname. How do you guys think it worked out? Be honest. They will feature on the back of the mobo plate side by side. More picture of them when they are fitted and the leds have been tried. Thanks a lot for helping me out Marcel! I know it cost you quite some blood, sweat and tears to get them done the way I envisioned it! Top work! www.robocnc.nl And I finally received my package that was sent by the most handsome man in the world bearing the most beautiful name in the world. Thank you SO MUCH for helping me out man. :drunken:Two i7-3770ks and 2 packages of 2*4GB Samsung low voltage, low profile ram. In other words; THE overclocking ram. One cpu is for me, one is for a friend and all the ram is mine. For this project ![]() |

I think it is time to show this baby.
I have thought long and hard about this. I was almost sure I was going to buy the MSI Mpower. But in the end I couldn't resist. I got brainwashed by a couple of friends and by it gorgeous black and orange colourscheme (and of course the amazing specs of it and SIN's amazing results). So without further talking, lets just watch it in silence. ... :evo: This is a rather odd shaped box... ![]() ![]() Weapon of choice. ![]() It is, it is..... :wth: ![]() :wheee:  ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I want to thank Ben from Salland who not only gave this project a very nice discount, but he also added two shirts in the package to give away to viewers. Not sure if they will be given away here. All depends on the amount of replies from people. Thank you very much Salland and thank you very much Ben!!! :thumbsups ![]() www.salland.eu |

Nice Tee's
![]() As for the drives I think the Samsung logo should be black with orange LED's to light it up. Looking good so far

haha I have the pleasure of having some really cooperative marketing contacts who like to do a little extra for the viewers of the buildlogs. These two shirts are being given away in small competitions on Dutch forums. But I guarantee you I will have something else to give away on here if there is interest. I am about to receive another marketing package very soon to give away. You think there is interest on Bit-tech forums?
Thank you very much for those words. I am happy to read people are enjoying my buildlog |
