@Editor22, lol @ Homer, Thanks for watching and commenting Nate!
![]() @Pranja, looking forward to seeing it finished ![]() @Kosovar, thanks for tuning in dude! @flame696, thank you for sharing your comment and watching! @Cheaps, I'm all in, just need to get andrew's parts, yr res & all these POs done @AverageNinja, for suure! ![]() @Azariel, it wont be terrible, it's aluminum after all ![]() @barry, we will weigh it for everyone... the big "F" make for nice carry handles @Waynio, Thank you for your support and your logs raised the standard for all of Us ![]() @coolamasta, we can't wait either, lots more projects to share with you. thanks for tuning in! @andrew8200m, thanks for watching! The actuator arrived. Here is all of the details with links from Firgelli. Roboduck informed me the 200N max force lift rating is 45 pounds, so one actuator should lift our cover, but I bought 2nd actuator we can install if needed. The quality is the actuator construction is exceptionally good. The order process and packing of everything was good too! I plan to install the actuator this weekend and will share my results. I'm also documenting the entire build to share on my YouTube Channel. Firgelli L16 Actuator Data Sheet PDF Link Firgelli L16 Actuator. Standard options include: three stroke lengths and three force/speed combinations (gear ratios). Each actuator has an internal linear potentiometer that provides position feedback. Firgelli LAC Controller with USB. You need 12V DC Power Adapter (we will make PSU connection) We ordered 1 meter long extension cable for L12 -P or L16 -P actuators. One male and one female end, 5 conductor, 26 AWG. The Linear Actuator Control Board is a stand-alone closed-loop control board specifically designed for Firgelli "P" series actuators. The LAC greatly simplifies designs by saving the development time, cost, and processor overhead associated with direct motor control. As little as 1 digital or analog output is required for position control. Supported input signals include USB, Voltage, Current, RC Servo, and PWM. On board adjustment of speed, sensitivity, and stroke limits are available. The LAC can be operated as both an interface board, or as a stand alone controller with the addition of an external potentiometer and power supply. Each LAC Board controls 1 linear actuator and will require an external power supply rated for the actuator. The LAC will work with the L12-P, PQ12-P and L16-P. It may also be able to drive other larger actuators that have position feedback. Note: If you buy an "P" series actuator and an LAC at the same time, you get the LAC for 1/2 price! Look for the "Add LAC?*" button when purchasing a "P" series actuator and save! Firgelli LAC Controller software download Firgelli LAC Controller Data Sheet PDF

@Asouter, Thanks for tuning in and commenting!
@Maki role, according data we have, it should work fine, but will confirm this weekend! We're utilizing two Aquacomputer Aqualis 450ml Reservoirs from Frozencpu. (approx. 80 x 80 x 170 mm) These measure 70mm in diameter and made from Borosilicate glass, so they're scratch resistant! There is no color absorption in this glass, so dye colors look more vibrant. We're making mounting plates for Aqua Computer Aqualis Reservoirs this weekend.

If you add some treads to the case and find Warwick Davis you'd have yourself a "light" tank.

Haha! I need to weigh it for you guys...not as bad as you're imagining, ....(soo far)
![]() I didn't have time to assemble the cover and install Firgelli this weekend, but did get more of the tiny parts finished. This is the front panel Power switch plate , .25" thick alum will mount over .25" thick Light Blue acrylic and fits 22mm Bulgin switch, 5mm LED. The other two holes are for fasteners

-Should have done an array of rotated layers.

@Ninja, that one is BULGIN, but will fit lamptron 22mm switch too
Finished the "Dual Aqualis" Mount plates. Machined from 3/16" aluminum. Cheaps devised a resourceful means for mounting it too. We've Given the Bluray a dual purpose. And some people thought optical drives had become obsolete...lol super busy day, I took these photos w/o realizing the bottom plate was flipped..lol We've given the Optical drive a dual purpose while saving space....
