v7 Linux client question

How do you access the information about the current work unit as you could with the v6 client through the unitinfo.txt file ? I've looked through all the files, and there isn't an equivalent of that file in v7. I'm more interested in reading the download and due time of the current work unit.

I should mention that I've installed the tar.gz bare client.

Second question: when run with --max-units=1 the client remains active (after finishing a WU) although not processing anything. It has to be killed manually, otherwise it triggers the "database is locked" error.

Any way to make it quit after processing the number of WUs supplied by the --max-units argument?
