    Crysis 3 Maxed out 8xMSAA with Custom Config.

    GPU's running at 1293MHz core and 7000MHz memory Overclocked, and I'm only just pushing over 20FPS. Using 3.6GB VRAM.

    Crysis 3 Ultra config:
    Open a new text document and add these commands:

    Code:

    ; AUTOGENERATED CONFIGURATION BELOW HERE

    ; Particle Collisions
    e_ParticlesObjectCollisions = 2
    ; Force Soft Particles
    e_ParticlesForceSoftParticles = 1
    ; Water Ocean Tessellation
    r_WaterTessellationHW = 1
    ; Particle Motion Blur
    e_ParticlesMotionBlur = 1
    ; Tessellation
    e_Tessellation = 1
    ; Pixel Accurate Displacement Maps
    r_SilhouettePOM = 1
    ; Real-time Volumetric Cloud Shadows
    r_FogShadows = 1
    ; Screen-space Reflections
    r_SSReflections = 3
    ; Texture Pool Size (MB)
    r_TexturesStreamPoolSize = 1024
    ; Ambient Occlusion Method
    r_ssao = 0
    r_ssdo = 2

    ; Shadow Timeslicing
    e_GsmCache = 1
    ; Sun Shadow Map Size
    e_ShadowsMaxTexRes = 4096
    ; Shadow Casting Light Scale
    e_ShadowsResScale = 6.8
    ; Tessellation Distance Limit
    e_TessellationMaxDistance = 40.0
    ; Grass Instance Animation Distance
    e_MergedMeshesInstanceDist = 8.0
    ; LOD distance ratio
    e_LodRatio = 40.00
    ; View distance ratio (Vegetation)
    e_ViewDistRatioVegetation = 100
    ; Global Illumination Iterations
    e_GIIterations = 20
    ; Tessellation Triangle Target Size
    r_TessellationTriangleSize = 20
    ; Grass Instance Max Distance
    e_MergedMeshesViewDistRatio = 100.00
    ; View distance ratio (General)
    e_ViewDistRatio = 100
    ; View distance ratio (Detail)
    e_ViewDistRatioDetail = 100

    Now save the text document as a Autoexec.cfg then put this file into Crysis 3 Folder.

    EDIT:

    This game is gorgeous!

    Loving it so far!

    I'll try these settings out when I can.

    WOW! We are slowly, but surely heading towards photorealism.

    What a GPU killer. How are you enjoying nearly using the full 4GB of vRAM TG!?

    Yep, it looks so much better now! :)

    You may have to use less AA, to run the game more smoothly. ;)

    Yep, it does look mighty impressive! :)

    I think even 3 GTX Titan's will struggle to run this config. :)

    That's the whole reason I bought these cards, as I knew 2GB would not cut it, to get games to look this good. So I'm rather satisfied! :)

    Yep! :) MSI Afterburner, using OSD in the monitor tab. I'll post a guide later for others to see. :)

    Game or new Card(s)? :D

    Why U no use GPUTweak :lol:

    I think if I were going for any card at the moment, the 4Gb's are deffo the ones to go for.. My 2Gb 670 is fine for most things, but it does begin to struggle with the AA up there at 1920x1200

    I thought it was GPUTweak for Asus cards only...Just Google'd it! I will have a play with it and compare it. :)

    I'm glad you admit that 2GB isn't enough for even 1200p with AA!:thumb: Most peeps are in-denial at 1600p, saying 2GB is enough...:duh::D

    Right, same settings as post 1, but with SMAA MGPU X2, which gives me nearly 50FPS Average, and just under 3GB VRAM usage.

    This game is so stunning! Good work Crytek! :)

    I have to say, JPeg makes these screenshots look poo, compared to the original .bmp...

    The beauty…

    Jpeg is horribly lossy, use PNG instead, is better in almost any case (before going to tiffs and crazy high bpc file formats).
    Using pure uncompressed bmp is madness, what size are those files?!

    All upload sites only use Jpeg. I uploaded the pic's in post 1 in PNG, but imgur reverted them to JPG.
    The average pic in .bmp is 12MB - PNG brings them to 9.5MB and Jpeg is 2MB.

    Still, they look OK here. Just looks like the pics have ZigZags, where the real screenshots have none. :)

    Ha, working on my S3 fine. But yep, needs a lot of bandwidth with all those pics. Hence the warning in the title. :)

    I'm really enjoying it. It's far better than 2. But Crysis 1 and Warhead, feels better. You will know what I mean once you play them all. :)

    I think I know exactly what you mean.

    In Crysis 1 and Warhead, movement was easier, you felt more agile I suppose. When you start out in Crysis 3 (and Crysis 2) you feel more encumbered by the nanosuit.

    This is a fantastic game and I love playing it but I have to say I prefer Crysis 1 though.
