I am not knocking the talent but can someone please explain how a model car filled with PC components is classed as a scratch build, which I took to mean created from 'scratch'?

I guess it's in the grey area between an off-the-shelf PC case and literally making a case from bits you've fashioned - he did neither but if I had to put it in one category it would be a scratch build... Even so, to give him credit he did do a bit more than just fill the car with bits

This was exactly my first thought... I agree it is a good looking build and clearly displays a lot of attention to detail and skill but that does not qualify as built from scratch in my book...
