*And maybe something I forgot to mention.

    The start of the project:

    The Lian-Li PC-60 arrives :)

The PC-60 out of the box, well packed!

The PC-60 in all its glorie.

    Sidepanel has been removed.

The start of the disassembly of the case.

    Fans have also been removed.

So does the motherboard tray and the fanregulator-chip.

The beginning of the dremelmadness, everything has been masked up.

The result of 2 hours of work: dremeling, filing, sanding, polishing.

    The 3.5" rack masked.

After half a hour of work, this is the result.

The bottom of the case, before being modded.

The result after making a window in the bottom and attach some new feet.

Comments and Feedback are always welcome.

looking good, and interesting so far... maybe the specs are a little bit under, is that because of money or because of no need for better???

Because of "no need for better". I had the hardware still lieing around, and didn't want to "waste" it and not use it. And afterall, this computer will be a server or something like that, so faster hardware isn't necessairy :) .

its like a ricer, you know, the hondas without any modifications, just a body kit and a wing, and some tail lights.. it looks good though. i cant wait to see what it looks like in the end.

Maybe the OP is thinking of the Reactor Core on Star Trek and the like, which is blue.

Hi Nexxo, I got the feet of an old case which I didn't use anymore. Something like a Dell computer, they use nice feet  :)

    Update 1:

First design made out of cardboard.

The front with the new piece of aluminium.

Here you can see how the feets are attached, with rubbers to avoid noise :) .

Why would I have shortne that 3.5" rack? Because of this beautifull rad, otherwise that thing wouldn't fit below the rack ;). (Soon the radiator will get a new layer of spraypaint, because this original paintjob s*cks, you can see that at one of the 4 corners of the rad.)

    From the back.

    And the front still fits.

    Sideshot.

That was it, untill the next update :dremel:

Looking good! May I ask where you got those feet from, and how you mounted the one that sits under the rail for the MB tray? Thanks!
