SFF what are the unique specs?
I have built three Shuttle sff systems, 2 that were AMD and 1 P4. Great systems and perfect for so many people that need a small footprint. One is under the counter of a little hardware store, another is in use by a traveling disk jockey, and the P4, who knows?
However, some people complain of a lack of expansion slots. So I paid way too much but got a Hornet from Monarch. I haven't seen anyone post in here about one so here goes. As I mentioned, it cost too much, but hey, they have no competition in this particular niche right at the moment so Monarch is going to charge what the market will bear. At least I am the first kid on my block with one(I had a deprived childhood). I don't see why Shuttle doesn't jump on this as I really have always liked them, even back to the old HOT series of motherboards. I bet they could do it better. As it is it is a pretty well designed case, but you MUST order it with a motherboard(extra) and a power supply (also extra)...what a deal huh? The slide out mobo tray is excellent, as is its ability to take a full size Micro ATX board. Thats a good point, and it will take a full size video adapter too. I ordered it with a Asus A7N8X-VM/400 mobo because I was not willing to pay their price for the Athlon 64 barebones setup ..ouch$. So those components I will order separately, probably from newegg.com. The very first thing I did was to remove that stupid Hornet logo sticker from the front of an otherwise perfectly nice looking case. Plus I removed all the other "do not remove" stickers, tags etc that will certainly destroy the warranty, like the case will break? Anyway, pardon the long post, one of my first of many I hope. I will keep up with my progress.
