Hi all This project is my first mod, i've decided to use metal instead of plexi or others parts used by many modders. Here is the hardware and watercooling list : AMD A64 3400+ DFI Lan party UT LP NF3 250 GB Adata PC4500 1 x 512 Mb 6600 GT (coming) 2x120gb Maxtor SATA Raid 0 Nec 3500A Nexxxos XP Nickel GPU Waterblock (coming) Cape Chipset Wb (coming) 2xEheim 1046 Black Ice Pro Black Ice Xtrem² 2xAquatube (Coming) Schemas : All of this will be put in this little case : So let's go : The case without the top, side and face. Here i drop away the HDD bays Then i've noticed that the Mobo panel was bended cuz nothing support it. So i put a piece of aluminium to fix it Then i put cornered pieces of alu all around the case to reinforce it. I take 4 pieces of inoxydable steel One for the face, and this is what i've do with it Drill it Put potentiometers And caps In place More coming, stay tuned Ps : Sorry for my ugly english
Thanks Guys Update : I started fixing right panel : And cutting the front panel for the blowhole : Then I put a protection around the hole waiting for my own "fanduct" Puttin some leds on a Sx2 : Here it is Now the fanduct : I take this, that where you put lil plate who came under cups to avoid burn a table Finished : Painted : In the dark with the psu and uv lights The left side now : That's all Folks, stay tuned
Thx I don't think so, the inox steel is pretty difficult to work on, and it is already brushed as I wish so
nice work, it's going to be pretty heavy though. are you intending to put any optical devices in there?
is that side window a whole thing of just mesh, its pretty much putting the computer out in the open....could be noisy and also accumulate alot of dust.. you could put some plexi behind it, but yea you don't want to use that.
Thx all @toxicwazte : The side window is just mesh, if there's no fan just behind the mesh no additional noise, and for the dust, i cleaning my pc twice a month
Little update : My psu : And cutting the top for the Black Ice Pro : Now waiting my piece of metal to put over it, and then fix the fan.
Thx Gonna try something for the leds circuits I will install the two watercooling circuits, currently doing some planning, the new front panel, side, and top. Wait and see For the scar, I fall down at a bmx session Au revoir
Oh man, you don't know how the hell it's difficult to cut this kind of stell. So near to my house, there's a man who do steel cutting. He do this with a powerful machine, it cut it by weight pressure.
