Very nice, I'm thinking that case and a Zalman Reserator (sp?) would look very very sexy together

When I look at case reviews I want to see lots and lots and lots of pictures, and you sir, did just that.

This is one great case you can really mod with. I actually found this out from the Coolermaster Forums.

I can vouch for the quality of the construction of this case as the internals are all the same as my ATC210, not a finger shredding part in sight and very very nice to work with, especially the ease with which the tray can be removed and installed for the motherboard.
On another note, I wonder if it is possible to buy the front pieces separately as they would look rather nice bolted onto the front of mine instead of the standard one.

Excellent case
I'm very happy with my ATC210 but now that "buy me" voice has started up in my head

Hey FATHEAD Thanks for the big welcome.
Yup I have a black Coolermaster case, lovely and glossy, like a grand piano. A superb case, so well made and very beautiful. I changed all the grotty sleve bearing fans for YS Tech quiet fans with decent bearings, made it even quieter. I love it! PS. If you rub some candle wax on the mobo tray runners it stops it being sticky! |

as i found with my old cm case, the magnets on the door are just lose enough for the drive to push the door open when you eject.
unlike certain other cases @ lian li

That review (and one of the best I've read in a while, I might add. Well written, without a lot of pointless stuff. Right to the point...unlike this post, I'm afraid.) Anyways, what with Christmas right around the corner, a black Wavemaster is the heart of my first big modding project. Most of the mods are going to add to the style of the case (as opposed to hacking the hell out of it). I'd thought about the blue one, but I've decided on black with some metallic blue trim that I'll be painting. I'll be sure to post the log once I start. I will hint and say that I plan on making judicious use of some fiber-optic cable trickery (it's the small mods that look so cool to me.)
I'm just debating whether I want to just buy a black replacement side panel with the window pre-installed, or cut my own window. Spending $150 makes me a bit nervous, but at the same time, I'm not sure if I want the standard square window (or to spend an extra $40 on the side panel.) At any rate, thanks for the great review! It solidified my decision to use the Wavemaster for my upcoming project...Now I just have to think of a cool name for it! |
