    Small Update.

I actually ruined the thing wich was going to be the "holder" for the power button. I accidently messed up the paint and thought that I could fix it with a "hot air pistol" "thingy" :D. But it melted and became deformed.. so i threw it away, but then I picked it up again and took a picture and threw it away again.. so here it is.

    26. Ruined!

    27. Though I came up with an new idea for a powerbutton since I found a plastic fangrill wich looked like this:

    28. And so I made it into this:
    A Zaft Logo [IMG]

    29. Also here is what the color looks like.

I can try to do this* with plexi glas and then paint it red :) the new one will be sharper instead of the the round soft shape the old one had. And with a separeted power button. :hip:

It's not just that, when i used the hot air pistol, the whole thing became soft as butter and deformed into an U instead of an V. And the left "wing" bended upwards because of the heat, so it's totally deformed.. :duh:

That would be awsome if yuo could cover them with a piece that made it look like the swords then cross them on the window. Not sure how to explain that any better but i think you might get ethe idea behind it.

The idea sounds good but I don't know how it will look IRL. You mean that i should use yellow Cold Cathodes as laser swords? IE put 2 of them behind the Picture of the Justice Gundam?
It's a neat idea.. and i will consider it :D. Though I don't want the inside of the case to be yellow.. Still.. I could put something on their backsides so that it will only shine outwards. :thumb:

What was the manufacturer of your case. I've never seen that model before and it has sort of a familiar look to it, but I can't put a name to it.

Where did you get that mesh? Looks like it might be better than the mesh currently on the top of my PC-70

My dad bought it at a store in sweden . It's used to keep rabbits from chewing at trees and bushes and such.. Maybe you'll find something like it at store that sells gardening supplies or something like that.

Search for "thermoplastic mesh" on mcmaster.com. Comes in black and clear. I have way too much of the clear stuff. If you need any let me know.

Gah, im trying to continue painting but the color gets messed up and is all lumpy all of a sudden. Anyone know what may be the cause of that?

Also about the powerbutton, I have 3 different alternatives, and I will post a picture of each of them soon.

EDIT: I was checking out some buttons and found these ones. Wich I'm going to use in the front to switch on/off the light inside the case.

Really cool one with green or red led. :)

Also cool one, with slightly different design.

This one is nice too :D

    And this too :)

Though for the Powerbutton i need a Momentary Switch. And these are the ones I found.

Yeah the first or the third..

Also I'm thinking about what I shall have on the top, instead of the ruined V. Though the V is still one of the alternatives, just a slightly different version.

N64 Rumblepack.. Cut in half, looks kind of gundam-isch :D.

    The V, concept picture.
