Can I upgrade my PowerMac?

Hey all,

I've just been offered a B+W PowerMac G3 400MHz, with 128Mb ram. I wanna install Tiger on it, but i need to at least get another 128mb of ram before this is possible. Is this worthwhile, and is there anything else anyone would recommend to make tiger run a bit smoother? I've got a budget of about a hundred quid.

I assume you can easily expand the memory. Fairly cheap aswell.
Although I think Tiger will have a hard time running smoothly on it. 400Mhz G3 isn't that much of a powermachine.

Even if you don't get tiger on it. still keep it! Its nice to collect them!

Take a look at Accelerate Your Mac. It's a good resource for upgrading macs.

edit: this page specifically has lot's of g3 info.

How much are you paying for it? Add the cost of ram and then make the decisions.
