-I was most intrested in:
"Of course, the biggest cool thing is CrossFire support, which means that 100% of games will derive a clear benefit" Currently not many Games have SLI support, it appears crossfire dosnt need specific support, all game natively support it - a simply massive advantage over SLI.-And HD sound on amd at last!!!!! hurrrah!! my AV reciever will be happy at last, hopefully this mean 'spdif/ RAW' output will be avalible, no sound card currently does this as they all decode and then output. -Also a clear hint at more than duel card solutions, if 3 is possible why not 4 or 5? but surely that is just maddness. -Overall it looks like Crossfire is going to give SLI a sharp kick in the nuts and run away laughing, unless Nvidia come up with somethings new by in the next couple of months then crossfire will soon be the new king.

There are many things that I've seen coming to SLI in the future - I think the match will be fairly even.
NVIDIA's SLI does work in most games if you turn it on. They are taking the path of 'we will automatically turn it on if we have created a profile and you can turn it on if you want to use it in other games'. F.E.A.R. single player demo doesn't have an SLI profile, but you can force it to work - it works well... So when ATI say that it only works in a select few games, that's incorrect because it works in games that don't have SLI profiles if you are willing to create (or download) SLI profiles for yourself. We will see which method is best come CrossFire launch day. If CrossFire works in every game, fantastic - it'll kick ass and be hella convenient. However, I don't believe that NVIDIA would be so single minded to keep SLI as it is - remember, they've got no competition at the moment.
