Fastest PCI Video Card
I'll get right to the point:
What is the fastest pci (not express) video card that money can buy? money being no object the best that i've found is a radeon 9250 with 256MB of memory OR a Geforce FX5200 with 128MB of memory are there any that are faster? or is one better than the other? |

I think the old Radeon 9000 Pro may be faster than both of those...if you can find one, which is very unlikely. I could be wrong though...

The 9250 with 256MB of memory should have a 128-bit memory interface rather than a 64-bit interface.

For ATi, the fastest your gonna find is a 9250.
For Nvidia, the fastest is going to be the 5700LE. Personally, I would go with the 9250 if I was stuck with PCI. |
