During a lull in class, me and some classmates figured out a way to combine our favorite things: wasting time and Wikipedia. We invented a game where you try to find a certain item (for example, pancakes) the fastest, measured in either time or clicks. Here are the rules: You cannot edit any pages You must start from the home page (http://wikipedia.org/) You cannot type anything. Everything must be done via mouse clicks. You cannot use the categories, A-Z listings, etc Here's a sample game, searching for "witchcraft." Wikipedia > English Wikipedia > United States > Massachusetts > Salem > Salem Witch Trials > Witchcraft All in all, it took six clicks. Whoever can beat this, starting from the main page, can post a link for the next item to search for. When posting, post the list of links just as presented above, then the next item in the search. Since this is a geek forum, the next item is geek. - tf (As an ongoing contest, kudos go out to anyone that can successfully navigate to barcode. It seems nigh impossible to find.)
Wikipedia > English Wikipedia > Technology (Portal:Technology) > Nanotechnology > Carbon Nanotube > Lasers (Laser) > Barcode Edit: Damn - was beaten......
Very good connection with Slipknot. But the actual next item is still geek. Find it and post your next item. - tf
