Hot damn, this is coming along great.

Seems that you've done some bondo work before in your life too, haven't you :hehe: It's still a bit hard to see the big picture, but I do like what I see from these "evolving" bits and pieces, keep it up.

    Janne

P.S. I laughed when I saw your keys on the table, nice teeth :D

Now I am working the front and the electronic part of the project, this part still doesn't have very material to show, then I decided to do some new buttons for Aerogate III, to test how the final result would be.

if im not mistaken, he somehow got some extra buttons, or buttons from other aerogates and sanded them down to clear acrylic. then he painted them in a couple different ways.

    tks dude :D :D

first I made one copies in silicon of the original button, I used acrylic of dental prosthesis that and more fluid, the only problem that if to do these buttons, it is that if you had needed a pressure cooker type to remove the air bubbles.

tks dude, I am happy with your comment.

dude, forgive me for the delay in answering you, I will arrive the box now. thank you for the comment.

no dude, I did the new buttons in acrylic, later I will put a basic step-to-step here: D

Those are some nice cuts, there. I'll always respect those that can maneuver a rotary tool in small designs. It may not be the best tool for the job but it does the trick in this case.

I'd go with one skull, two seems like overkill.

returning my worklog, I will show the front of the project.

I had made a front different from this, but I committed a mistake when trying to do the mold in plaster, then I decided to change the front drawing, I think this was better.

here and my work place, very tight

    refazendo o trabalho todo
    [IMG]

here a picture of as it was the course, a ready side and the other almost finishing, that after some 3 hours
    [IMG]

general vision of the whole thing
    (sentence without any sense heehehe)

good the part of the wax is finished, now we will make the negative form of this whole wax.

here and as I decided to do, I divided the front in 4 parts, my previous mistake went to try to do everything at once the front didn't simply leave the plaster, I had to break everything. of this it sorts things out that I did leaves perfectly.

filling with plaster, I used plaster special type IV.

after some 2 hours drying, mold negative leaves with the whole wax in him
    [IMG]

now that the mold loosened and hour of doing the "cover" she will be with the front format, that guarantees the fitting of the pieces in front of the case
    [IMG]

after the ready "cover" and hour of removing the whole wax.

    molds and their covers:

the tribal of some of the lateral ones:

    and his "cover":

now the wax transformation for acrylic
    [IMG]

closing the form, will have to press the cover against the form the more possible fort, then I used the chair to do this force in my place hehehehe

    after ready:
