    I'd love a Segway, but because they're illegal, it's so pointless in the UK it hurts my face... Shame really...

    Is it one of those "you are not allowed to use it on the sidewalk, but you are not allowed to use it on the street" ? :grr:

    I doubt you could use it on the roads either, well actually does it come with lights and reflectors?

    It doesn't. Just ride a bike. It's cheaper. Or rollerblade.

    Yup, they're illegal on the pavement, but not allowed on the roads because they're not registered etc.

    You say ride a bike proxess, but they're not always practical, besides, where's your geek spirit?!

    If we aren't allowed to ride segways on the pavements then old people/fatasses/disabled people shouldn't be allowed to use their electric scooters/wheelchairs either.

    technically i don't think they are either

    Like your not allowed to ride your bike on a pavement, everyone still does it though

    Clearly never been to Paris, or half of Austrailia, or many other major cities.

    Rollerblading may have been a fad in large parts of the world, but it's actually not a bad form of transportation and is still very popular in some places.
