    Perfect?:eyebrow: Thanks! :D
It's getting hard to photograph this stuff, now that it's getting polished. I should have took a pic after fine sanding.

Well... The 12 uv led's I ordered from Futurlec were duds. (or fakes.)
I already knew I would never order from them again, but damn!

Now I have to send them another -friendly- e-mail...

    quick update:
Obviously I've been checking some of the hardware that came in the mail. I only have 1 pic of that...
-Fan test using Hypnotoad. The chip was still running hot.:p
    [IMG]
-Needed to do some quick trimming to the backplate for the new psu.
-Used some gutted hardrive parts for making a front drive cover. This was a slight mistake because the aluminum spread the heat to the rest of the plastic. The part came out with marks from the drives on the inside.
    That hardly matters because...
-I also broke it. What a day I had. bogus LEDs and clumsy drilling mistakes.
-This pic was taken to prove that I do sometimes use a dremel. This is a faceplate for the front usb port.
-The usb will fit between the front planels facing down.
-usb mounted to bottom front panel. I sanded and polished this after this pic was taken. The rivets polished quickly on the wheel, but now my buffing wheel is black and nasty.

Does anyone know if a usb 1.0 cable extension like this is compatable with usb 2.0? I would think it would be if it's just a plug and a cord, but I'm no expert...

    Pics aren't loading my friend.
And to answer your question, although they look very similar, an old USB 1.0 port is not capable of USB 2.0 transfer rates.

    @ [xXx] ãÇè_ƒr€áK : copy/paste works good too.:p

-I polished and glued the front spacers. I have no freaking clue how I'm going to mark off the cd/floppy slots. I think I can get some tape in there somehow...I already know the stuff's too dark to see through.:sigh:
-Time for some assembled teaser pics...
-Heavy on the teasing because of blurry pics. Note the sinister glow in the on switch ball. (EXTERMINATE...EXTERMINATE...):D
I was checking the airflow and noticed the fan had some problems with cavitation. I could feel a breeze on BOTH sides. somehow the giant hole in the back of the case is not big enough to vent the air from the front fan.
-With the side off to try to get a shot of the purple fan... Digital cameras really suck in low light. Mine likes to reduce the resolution and colors.
-Insides mounted. I have a few fit issues with the water system. The bottom line on the rad is too close to the chip in the board I'm going to use, and the reservoir is hogging half the case.
-At least the fit on the hardrives and the fan are right. There's only a millimeter of space between them.
    -more teasers... inside...
-and the front. This is a good shot of the switch assembly. I need to fix up the lights for it next.
-Started to do some bevel work on the outsides. I like this shape. Too bad it won't be so visible with the masking off. Maybe I'll add some clear frosted accent plates...
-Added another hint of cable management hardware.
-I've started picking up parts for the water loop. Ignore the fact that I don't have a pump or waterblock yet...Actually I'm trying to avoid taking apart the heatsink to figure out my measurements. All I know about my current rig is that it's an AMD 3.2ghz, and it runs hot as hell. I need to ask some (probably really dumb) questions on one of the other boards. If I could find some info on the mounting standards, I'd be set.
-On this episode of the anal retentive plumber...I'm filing off the stamping marks and name branding. Then I go OCD and decide to do some decorative filing.:duh: I have decided to use JBWeld epoxy instead of soldering the whole thing together. It should look better, be less permanent, and I'm really not planning on drinking out of this thing!
-A single finished part!:jawdrop: Only about 18 to go... This pic didn't come out very well either.:sigh:
