    Students? As in college/university students?

Ah, you need a '.edu' email for it. I can get my cousin to order a few copies then.

EH. One copy per email address? I guess that they have all of their bases covered. Still a really nice deal though.. I have been using Home Premium on my laptop and it's fairly decent...

I'm not going to use it, I like OOo, and I don't want to support Microsofts failed XML

Bargain, but then you can get a 3-computer Office 2007 License for £93 (althougth its the student edition).

EDIT: Looks like I've bought a copy. :p

Has anyone worked out how to get them to send the disc to you? Is it in one of the early steps?

Isn't that so you can redownload it later? Where does it say it gives you the CD?

Does this version need validating? Any reason I couldn't install it on both a laptop and desktop?

could not install?! define cannot install...
Is it that the installation failed, or says the serial is bad.

It could be that they need to verify that you are a real student (probably call you, or a firm associated with Microsoft call you) as they said in the conditions.

No, you can't install it on two different compuers, it needs to be activated when you get it. Its working very well here. :)
