Cooling Moving to WaterCooling!

Hey brothers How are you today? I decided to move to Water cooling it's qutier and nicer and I can get more speed from my computer

However I was kinda lost! I want to water cooling the whole PC Or it don't worth ?

CPU E6600
VGA 1950XTX
North bridge
South bridge
Volt thing on the Mobo
Harddisk (maybe not sure)

So what do you think! I was think to get kit and mod it with other parts? what do you advise me!

BTW I saw that Watercooling 101 on BT

 

Are you really sure you know enough about what's going on inside your computer to be safely mixing water and electronics?

 

IMO, its only really worth it to WC the cpu and the graphics

everything else in the system can be adequately cooled either passively or very quietly while still giving plenty of overclocking headroom. Watercooling hard drives, NB, SB just adds heats and restricts flow, which have a knock on effect to the cpu and graphics cooling.

For a begginer like you, I'd go for one of the Swiftech Kits.

BTW mankz I'm not bigginer, I used to have gigabyte galaxy 1 and 2 and zalman Res 2 and not only 1 peice I fixed like 20 for peopleS! It's not new to me but now you can see tons of water cooling gears! and diffrent price and shits So It's confuing me now, Also it's my money not customer one..

It has everything you'll need to cool you CPU, GPU and your chipset

 

You cant go *too* far wrong with putting your own bits together, even if its just from copying what others have done.

Pick either low-flow or high-flow, make sure you stick to it throughout the system and buy your bits.

 

that is the basic part, Okay what the brands and the choses I want some thing really good and worth the money, Also keep in mind that I have to ask if I will find it in Dubai after give me the information.. and it's not easy to go to Dubai from Abu dhabi.. It's kinda 350K between and I have school and craps

so this is how it will go!

1- Find the right parts on the web
2- Write them down
3- Go to Dubai next weekend
4- If it's available, build it on papers and get more information, see the price
5- Next week end go buy them with my money

I don't think you'll find shops selling them. You'll need to buy online from the UK or the states and have it shipped over.

We can't do everything for you. When I first got into water-cooling I looked on the web for over a month doing research. Studies show that there is only a 1* or 2* differance between low and high flow systems.

Also, the Swiftech kit doesn't suck. Core-only GPU blocks should actually perform better than FC blocks.

That just goes to show how little you still know...

The kit that Mankz. linked is actually quite good --decent 2x120 fan radiator (most certainly NOT small!), good pump and blocks. You can always buy a GPU block more specific to your card.

There is no real difference between low-flow and high-flow setups, no matter what people will tell you. One has small diameter tubing, and the other has larger diameter tubing. You need to make sure that all your blocks are the same, for either small or large diameter tubing. No mixing of the two types.

Given that very few people on this forum live in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, I don't think anyone can give you any advice except on what you can buy on the internet. We simply do not know what is available to you locally.

Ok how about this:
-Swiftech MCR320 Rad
-D-Tek Fuzion cpu block
-EK Full Cover gpu block (Not too sure if they make one for X1950XTX) or Swiftech MCW60 + ram/mosfet heatsinks
-Laing D5 vario pump (aka Swiftech MCP655)
-7/16" Tubing - Masterkleer if you can get it
-Res - personal thing really I'd recommend an EK multi-option res or a Swiftech Mcres-micro
-Some kind of dye and biocide
That should cool a C2D and any card admirably, if you really wanted you could throw an EK or Swiftech northbridge block in the loop too but not necessary at all.

You'll really will have to buy online you will not find decent parts (or any at all) in store. If you don't mind international buying shoppts.com is very good and would have everything, they're US based. I have bought from them many times and I live in Ireland, shipping is obviously going to be expensive but that's just the way it is.

 

i think if your coming to people for help, thats not really the right attitude to be putting forward. People have tried to help you, and clearly are more knowledgeable, so perhaps you should do your own research, www.google.com would probably help, or even if you don't to do that, just listen to the people who take the time to reply to your thread.

Tubing, tygon perhaps, i know Masterkleer clouds up quite fast. Not sure if a Vario pump is needed, i just have the basic one and its silent >_>
