Hey guys, its me again thank you for continuing to show interest in my project, it means alot to me :D..

But, I have some bad news, I need to get this thing show ready in a little less than 2 weeks and the motherboard cover is nowhere near completion so im putting it on the back burner, Its not a completely necessary mod, and in addition to that I'm frustrated in my search to find an adequate chemical bonding agent for aluminum. I will make some temporary mods to the mobo tray until i can come up with a third revision for the tray.

So here is the work i HAVE gotten done:

got new fittings for the VGA block (koolance swivel, 90 degree fittings)
stubby EK fittings for small space between pump and radiator
    [IMG]
    a 1'x1' aluminum sheet

DISCLAIMER: the photos are dark, my camcorder does not have flash, I have to work in the dark since I only have 1 immobile lamp in my room :( sorry

    fitted new loop
    [IMG]
    filled the loop
    [IMG]
here it is sitting inside the case

trimmed the bottom of the PSU vibration dampener. It was causing clearance problems.
    here it is installed

shortened SATA power wires (not sure if you can see, but the power connectors fit perfectly with no excess wire hanging out

Today, i went around driving to different hardware stores to pick up various workshop necessities (masking tape, compass, rulers, drill bits, etc etc.) and began working on the rad grill, check it out:
    cool no?
close up on the project logo, it will go on top of the case along with the grill
    [IMG]
took it to the scrollsaw and did this much before i broke 2 blades, i figured it was time to stop and try again tomorrow when I'm fresh.

    Anyways, thats it for now
    Until next time!

Go the grill mostly finished today:
There it is cut and mostly filed
    [IMG]
I put it on top of the fan holes and didnt like it at all
    [IMG]
So i sketched a 2nd layer on Plexi
    [IMG]
    darkened with Sharpie marker
    [IMG]
    Sneak preview
    [IMG]
    clamped and cut
    [IMG]
    filed with metal files:

wasnt cutting it so i went to the dremel sanding drum
    [IMG]
did the corners with a smaller file
    [IMG]
    finished with 150 grit sandpaper

Theres still some more work that needs to be done on the grill, ill finish it tomorrow.

    Until next time!

great work so far, any thought on mounting the PSU on the outside, if I had the $ I would like to have the same case but I thought about how to mount it like that so there would be more room in the case for a bigger air cooler
