Pretty big I guess. We were getting over 45mpg all of the way.

Not exactly as shown. Same wheels and Champaigne paint colour.

An absolutely succulent ride and a superb bargain these days. I've been in Mercedez-Benz and Audi many times before, but this car takes the cake as far as executive presence and comfort is concerned. A little thirsty for premium petrol, I admit. J.D. Powers' most highly-praised vehicle ever. Keep an eye out for one of these, they're a great buy.

Ignition sounds like a turbojet aircraft, believe me.

    Nice car

I would feel kinda bad changing my 91Accord for a 93Anything though. I mean paying that much for a 15 year old car kinda hurts, doesn't it ?

Car is a 2001 BMW 330i, bought new in October 2000. I don't have a picture of mine scanned, which is the steel blue metallic instead of gray. Love to drive it, especially in the mountains with the moonroof open. My favorite car was a 1969 Austin Healey Sprite though, banana yellow with black interior and top that we replaced.

Thanks. At least your Accord doesn't have high maintenance costs if something does go wrong. The car needs some work as its been parked for two years. I've noticed that the suspension has probably blown, and if the car is equipped with the very expensive air suspension option, replacements are $1,130 for each, four in total. Engine still runs as strong (and especially smooth) as it did in 2001 when the car was purchased. Climate control LCD is bricked, though, and the car seems to ride lower than a lowered Acura RSX for better or for worse. Parking such a big car in a busy lot is interesting...

Nope, new models come out the fall before in the US generally. Have no idea how it is elsewhere.

It is in very good nic, the AA man was impressed with its condition when he picked me up on the motorway (Timing belt broke :( £100 out of my wallet, luckily these old engines heads don't clash :))

    Nova :D.

Its a 1.2 then? I think thats the only valve-safe one. 5-doors are (almost) always rust free lol for some unknown reason. If you want 5th, swapping the gearbox on one of those takes around 90 mins if you know what you're doing. You could swap the cluster if you don't have the tools to swap the gearbox in under an hour in situ I reckon.

It basically unbolts and pulls out, then you swap the pinion (top gear, right shaft), as thats matched to the diff, but thats only 1 circlip to undo. Your gearstick may have a blanking lug on it underneath the gater, just cut/rip it out.

The F10 and F13 gearboxes from Nova's, Corsa B's and mk2/3 astras (up to a 1.6) will fit.

PM me if you need more info.

Lmao... no, that wasn't option for the LS back then. There's just a lot of front and rear overhang which complicates judgment of turn radius in tight spaces. As for power, I can slightly out-accelerate a Golf from standstill to maybe 100km/h, but from 100km/h-200km/h, it flies; very broad power and torque curve and surprisingly low wind drag:worried:

**edit: alright, I finally found a photo of my actual car on the driveway (from last year)
