Gaming Team Fortress 2

Hope they bring out the Hunted maps again they were a blast. TF2 is great though.

The Hunted ones were the sniper maps where you had to guard the fat VIP guy right? They were fantastic.

 

Sad you guys are peddling this **** as a good game, having played TF games for years TF2 is an awful, dumbed down for console, 10 year wait too long crapfest. Portal and Ep2 are quite good though

 

I have a 1.8ghz C2D, 2gigs of DDR400, and a 6800NU 128mb. I had to set the textures to medium as I don't have the VRAM for it. Also the reflections were slowing me down as well. I had the shader on high and models on high but I had to put the shader on low for 2fort. There is 1 section near the flag that would just make my system crawl. I don't know why and it was only that 1 section.

I am at work right now. but I herd before that the full game would support dual core. Can anyone confirm that? I'd like to be able to bump either the reflections or shader back up to high.

 

so, um, when does it come out again? i really wish theres a TF2 standalone :/

 

its not blaspemous... its simply TF2 and Portal getting me far more excited...

 

TF2 Rocks get playing it as much as fun.

 

I had a look on the steam website earlier and you seem to be able to buy it for US$30. Oh its out btw (i think)

 

its already been out and has been for quite a while now. you can buy it standalone for $30 i believe or buy the orange box for $50.

 

I love the spy, it's by far my favorite class Getting behind a heavy just as he's about to attack with a medic next to him and wacking him with a backstab is just so fulfilling

Or leading the attack as a demo man with a enemy healer healing you for 200 points before you backstab him, now thats just justice right there hehehe.

Some things you forgot to mention, in the steam community, you can compare your stats to a friends (go to their profile, go to their tf2 stats and theres a button to compare to your own) and also the global achievements, similar to medals in bf2

Bit-tech needs to write about how valve took out the 32 player servers from the server list. The servers feel empty now

 

Thanks for your opinion. My opinion is that TF2 is quickly becoming my favorite game of all time. Oh, and I can't wait for more Portal maps!

Oh, and bit-tech, if you can't tell us why it isn't 10/10 then why don't you go ahead and score it 10/10? I understand that you have discussed for an hour and all, but if you can't tell us any reason for it to not be a 10, then just make it a 10. It is just a number, after all.
