If you're Asian, you use your Kung Fu on the DDR mat and arcade platform to whiney J-pop.

Yeah, I'm obviously not Asian enough for this stuff.

I used to have a dance mat. It was pretty fun, but I didn't have enough room for it so getting to play was always pretty time consuming. It was a Xbox mat btw. It's good to know those work just as well when you simply change the connector. USB-pads are pretty hard to find as stepmania is free.... Maybe nowadays it's easier when there's also the newer version.

I have no clue however why one would post fraps-videos of him playing stepmania on keyboard though... Seems rather booring to me.

My brother and a few of my friends joke that East Asians are some super-breed of humans: they claim that Asians have accomplished/excelled at everything (especially the predominantly irrelevant). I disagree, but the YouTube search criteria "crazy asian" doesn't help my case.

Look at that super kung fu speed.
And you thought they only had super intelligence.

I think Asians have a lot better reflexes/speed than others, I mean look at the Martial Art stuff over there, and also the games they play are quite amazing. And when watching Guiness Book of Records, the records they hold are unbeleivable, and are pretty much unbeatable imo.

i watch that vid and i just think....get a life....

anyways, yes, i'm asian too. unfortunately i dont seem to excel at anything relevant or irrelevant. also, i think the whole records thing might be due in part to the fact that they have like...a third of the worlds population (china has a 1/6th alone and i think the rest of the countries make up a huge ass ammount). by sheer chance and brute force in people they're bound to rack up massive records...and scores in DDR...

Hmmm, I suppose there's some merit in both arguments. And they must honestly be incredibly bored in the Far East to really be picking up these hobbies and then going nuts at them; I saw a Japanese woman who could play a piece from Paganini better than I've ever heard. It must be a sad existence over there.
