Atari VCS TI 99 - while not strictly a console, it did have games which came on carts Acetronic MPU-2000 - best version of space invaders I've ever played. Ever... BBC model B Amstrad CPC (Green screen ) ZX81 ZX Spectrum 48k Atari 520ST Master System Nes Mega Drive 1 (with MS adapter) SNES PlayStation (although this suffered with the need-to-turn-upside-to-run-any-games glitch) PlayStation One Saturn N64 Playstation 2 Dreamcast X-Box GameCube (with GBA adapter) X-Box 360 Wii Gameboy Gameboy pocket Gameboy Advance Gameboy Advance SP Nintendo DS Nintendo DS Lite Sega Game Gear (with MS adapter) PSP and they're all kicking about here somewhere.
Classic controler/Gamecube controllers are expensive. Wish I could plug the N64 controller in, it's the exact same thing except the plug is a bit bigger
I just bought a Wavebird for £15, bargin considering the normal controllers are £18. You can get the normal ones second hand for under £10 easily.
None of the new consoles appeal to me, PC gaming for the win... I have a PS2, PSP and a DS Lite that I gave to my sister.
Holy cow Brett I used to live on Grand Forks AFB Small world! I have owned and still have the following list of consoles: NES SNES SEGA SEGA CD N64 Gamecube Xbox Wii 360 PS PS2 PS3 OG Game Boy Game Boy Pocket (I have the clear one ) Game Boy Color Game Boy Advance (The NES Styled one) Nintendo DS Dreamcast I never had a Virtual Boy. I always wanted one just cause the looked cool as hell. Above all I have the PC in my sig as well which I love <3 !!!
I've had just a PC since i sold my xbox in 2002. I don't see the point of a ps3 or 360 aswell as a nice gaming pc. But that's just me Although i have been tempted by a 360 a few times (hurry up and port Dead Rising ffs!!) i don't think i will ever bother with one now. But up till the XBOX i had pretty much everything going at some point, i've been a gamer for a long long time Sega Master System Sega Megadrive (1 & 2) Sega Mega CD (1 & 2) (Paid £279.99 for Mega CD 1 on launchday) Sega Game Gear Sega Saturn Sega Dreamcast (I bought it on launchday) Atari Lynx Atari Jaguar SNES N64 (with expansion) Gamecube (bought solely for REmake, was not dissapointed) Amiga CDTV (i felt extremely posh when i bought it) Amiga CD32 Playstation (bought on launchday) Playstation 2 XBOX (the ugliest console ever)
That glitch was the best, some games i had to turn it on its side, and some upside down, at least it was full of character.
I currently have - PC, Xbox 360, PSP, DS Lite, Mega Drive & Saturn. The mega drive and saturn have not been sold because we still play Mega Bomberman and Saturn Bomberman. This is the family game that the entire family enjoy including my mum and is puled out when they visit. Saturn bomberman mainly because you can have 10 players, but since moving away from most my family we never get that many people round at once so its dropped to 5. So now the Xbox 360 has taken its place but im still one joypad short for 4 player. Still not getting rid of that saturn incase we can get a 10 player game again. My Total console history included - Game Gear, Master System 1 & 2, Megadrive 1, Mega CD 1, 32X, Saturn, Gameboy, Nes, Snes, N64, Game Cube, DS Lite, Atari Lynx, Atari Jaguar, Panasonic 3DO, Amiga 500+, Amiga CD 32, Neo Geo, Neo Geo CD, Sony Playstation 1 & 2, PSP, Xbox, Xbox 360 Consoles i have never owned and interested in at some point are Dreamcast, PS3, Wii Out of all those the most expensive console I bought was a Second Hand Sega Saturn at £350 with no games
My wife's the only one who plays games around here, so I got her a Wii for Christmas to replace her Nintendo and Nintendo 64.
Commadore 64 SNES Original GB, although the clear screen cover has fallen off PS1 PS2 Xbox GC Xbox 360 DS Lite In order of purchace Had a 64 but sold it
i have a couple of NES's, and i might have an n64 packed away somewhere. my buddy is still working on his boss to see how much of a discount i can get on a 360.
Oh what a lot of people have old consoles! Well, why would anyone throw away/sell old consoles when you have (great) games on them. I do have only a PC myself.
i had an atari something when i was young, dont know what happened to that. then there was sega master system when i was 5 still got that but im pretty sure it doesnt work now then i bought a ps1 at some point but that got traded in for an xbox bundle deal (dont have anything left that was bundled) but i havent touched that in ages so i probably should chuck it on trademe
