That's the problem with filler building. -It takes forever to dry.
I can't wait to see how this comes out...but I kinda' have to.

using bondo, or what us brits call P40 you have to apply in thin sections, as a big lump takes ages to dry and can warp then crack. if you are using it right it should be dry within 10 minutes and ready to sand or for the next layer if your building up.

i tend to perfer to apply a layer of bondo then sand with 80 grit, to find any little air bubbles, brush it off with compressed air then apply the next layer of bondo, saves so much time finding the air bubbles as you go, rather than finding them in the end!

    :hehe:
I used to be able to do a pretty good 'Cousin It' impersonation too!
That's a lot of new molex plugs. I'm used to just ripping them off from older systems.

When you look closely on the circuit you can see that he got the layout from http://www.meisterkuehler.de/
which means master cooler in english but the whole site is in german....:D

    another update

this groove is for a wire, so i can hock those steel support wires in, just like in the real build
    [IMG]
mounted the cd cover(which needs some new tiles
    [IMG]
and the old hdd cage is mounted (need some kitbash)
    quick inside overview
    [IMG]
and the pushbutton terminal is mounted also
    [IMG]
    time to mill
    [IMG]
    action shot :O
    [IMG]
    and the finished part
    [IMG]
this should be some kind of mega fuse construction, one of em is broken
    [IMG]
    led wire channel was milled
    [IMG]
this is how it should look like, except the cap of the real fuse wont be visible in the finished part
    [IMG]
    _some_ wires
    [IMG]
    ..and a happy new year

    EEEEK!
Hand feeding stuff into a routher bit!?!?
Please use a back stop guide and a push stick!!! I've seen what happens to WOOD when you slip. I pray you keep your hands clear from the bits.

I like what you've done. are you putting a molten red core under the reactor?

Might be wise to keep hands away from the bit, but the foam is so soft I just can't see it backfiring too badly.
