    Photobucket, You can allow images upto a size of a 17" screen, or images over 1mb, handy for my 30":cooldude:

    17" :eyebrow: :confused:

    I'm using six 19" screens (2 x TripleHead2Go = 3 19" screens wide x 2 19" screens high {using vertical span mode} = 7,864,320 pixels = almost two 30" screens). The originals are 3-4MB files. I could compress them more but...

    Anyway. I have now resized the original to 3000*1600 and compressed it some more to get it under 1.5MB (link).
    And here's a different one I shrunk just because: (link)

    Edit2: Re-saved @ 70% they still look OK so:
    [IMG]
    Though now I'm using this one instead:

    I'll leave it to you to re-size and crop as needed.

    Quiet thread all of a sudden (I won't post again until someone else does)
    Just changed my desktop for Christmas.
    I had to save it @ 57% quality to get ImageShack to host it. (The original looks better)

    Thanks,:thumb: that does indeed look better (It was 2:57AM when I posted that, shortly after changing it - #@$% insomnia) - though I may look for more colours - the silly Windows Fisher Price theme seems limited to blue, olive, & silver :confused:. Time to look for a way around that.

    Edit: Classic style, Maple color scheme works well as far as the color element goes but...

    Time to break out the Visual Styles. This is the easiest way to customize your Windows XP as basically they are based on Windows XP's in-built skinning system. All you need to do is patch two files so they accept "unlicenced" (i.e. not created by Microsoft) themes (this is not a legal issue, just a "safety feature" so n00bs don't accidentally bork their GUI). You can let UXTheme Multipatcher do all the hard work for you. :)

    I would look at:

    RoyaleDX2 (colour scheme "copper" or "gold");

    MurinaXP (colour scheme "human");

    Kontrazt VS (third colour scheme).

    I got all excited, downloaded it, ... won't install on XP SP3 beta :wallbash: :sigh:
    Thanks for the great suggestion(s) though. Time to dig deeper.

    You'll have to patch manually then, using the new UXtheme.dll for XP SP3:

    1) Download the file (for your Beta) and extract in a handy location.
    2) Go to C:\WINDOWS\System32 and rename uxtheme.dll to uxtheme.dll.old
    3) Put the new uxtheme.dll into C:\WINDOWS\System32
    4) If you get any warnings from Windows stating that an original system file has been replaced, you must click "Cancel", otherwise the new uxtheme.dll will be replaced with the original one.
    5) Reboot

    Cool, it reminds me of the Futurama opening sequence - if it was Chinese.

    Is it just me or is she starting to look like Christina Aguilera?

    Funky :hip:
    Yay supermonkey :clap:

    That Miranda setup looks very swish. If only it supported the games that Live Messenger lets you play I might be inclined to switch to it :(.
