New Years Eve

So the day is upon us, and I come to ask the population of bit: What does everyone have planned?

For myself, it's working till 7:30, have a quick meal, and then go down the pub and celebrate. But how about you guys?

 

Bike ride.
Beans on toast.
Pirate party.
Beer.
Sleep.

 

Time with Family this year, and no alcohol ffs..

 

I'll add you to the list of people that I'll drink a pint for then

I've got some Malibu etc in storage so I'll see if the tastebuds are gonna like that instead, I have a feeling they won't.

 

I think this is what I'm doing planned at the meet up with my usual mates the other day, but as usual the organisation is awful so I've not really got a clue

Well during the day I'm playing a game of Zombies!!! with them as they liked it when I brought it round
Then later on we're having a gathering of booze and probably some Grifball

 

Got a Ceilidh, for a change i organised something in advance normally it gets to about 2 in the afternoon so we just go to the pub.

 

i'll be at work. here till thursday. think i will goto bed, get up at 11:45 to call the girlfriend at 12:00 and then back to bed.

 

I dont get the point of new years! It's just another day to me, so I'll do the same as every other day. Being a night owl I'll go my bed about 9am, get up about 5pm, do some housework, and spend the night on the pc.

 

i think for most its a chance to start new. correct the mistakes you made in the last year and right some wrongs that may be present in your life.
and then for others like me its an excuse to kick back and get drunk. except this year. although they do have .5 here at the camp...

 

Working "security" from 7pm until 7am on a construction site. Whilst going hungry, probably
(Anybody in Kent want to bring me some steak? )

 

Well, starting today with going out and having a solid breakfast/brunch with my brother if I can.
Then hang around the house till friends arrive and then off to this
till early morning, then home to the house and continue celebrating with everybody invited (50 or so people) Dresscode once we get home will be suit and tie for the guys and dresses for the ladies. Borrowed a pair of these 15"
for that purpose and a JB Systems 2x430W Amp
to feed them. Volume can be set to an unbelievably level with that system.
That in turn is hooked up to my computer as audio source. so atm there are 4200 mp3's at our disposal. So i think we are going to have a blast.

Going around a friend of a friends house for a gathering with free food, and then off to the pub later. It should be interesting.

 

Sitting at home, eating an obscene amount of junk food.

 

The party is starting at 4pm at my flat, but im stuck at work until 5.

 

Finish work at 2100, go home, bandage ankle, elevate ankle, bitch about not being able to go for a bike ride, sleep, wake up, go to work :\

moral of the story.
It's really embarrasing to sprain your ankle while walking on a smooth flat concrete surface

 

go and buy booze in about 5minutes.
come home, tidy my room.
drink, drink, eat, drink.
sleep at about 5am
wake up before 1pm in time for football at 3.

 

Hawaiian themed party at my local, whoever thought of that for this time of year should be broken.

Freezing there, drinking lots and trying not to think about my ex...yay.

 

parents went to a cash and carry so I have crate loads of beer to take to a mates to get rather "jolly"

end of 2007 ended pretty whack due to women! but these parties are always a good laugh yet there always seems to be the removal of bodyhair by the end of the night! Armpit waxing is not cool
