USB card reader/writer freezes, on vista ult, 32bit

i got windows vista 32bit and
my portable reader/writer freezes when i try to move or delete files onto it
just locks up each time,
i never had this problem when i had XP
anyone know what i should do?

 

Do you have the latest drivers for it? And have you checked that the drivers are for Vista?

 

Drivers for it? its not suppose to have drivers
its just a USB SD reader/writer , size of a small flashdrive
and i updated Vista two days ago, from automatic updates was like 200+mbs ..

 

I still need some help
it reads and all, but while transferring files it just locks up!!
