corsair 620w or 750w psu

im about to put together my new parts

q6600
asus p5e
Geil Black Dragon PC2-8500 1066Mhz 2GB
samsung spinpoint 500gb
8800gts 640mb (keeping this and waiting for the next gen card)
Corsair HX620 620 Watt PSU or Corsair TX750

will the 620w psu be ok or should i dig a bit deeper and get the w750

 

620 would be fine I believe. Even the 550 (or 520) would probably be suffice.

 

You're probably not even hitting 300w of power right there. Are you OCing at all? If so, maybe a little over 300w. You're perfectly fine with the 620HX. I'm running a beefier rig than this on the same PSU. Plus you get the capability of modular, unlike the other unit....assuming you see that as a plus.

 

620HX. You'll be a happy bunny.

Otherwise, I'd go for a PCP&C Silencer 750.

 

None of them. HX520 will be fine.

Hx620w hands down.

that system is easy for 620w, even 520w should be able to handle a quad core and GTX.

 

I've just been running over that system on a HX620. Its very happy and cool.

 

620 it is, on order picking up tomorrow
