    Hi
Don't know if im posting this in the right place!!

i have a HP Pavilion Laptop dv9341eu, running windows vista home premium and i recently purchased a "PCMCIA cardbus Host into Express card/34 slot converter adapter" .
but everytime i push it into the slot, vista locks up and i can't do anything, when i pull it out everything runs as normal again.

    any ideas?

    thanks

Go to the cards manufacturers website and see if the card supports vista. If so make sure you have the latest vista drivers. If the card doesnt support vista i hope you can get a refund!

this sounds like your PCMCIA card doesn't like Vista. Make sure you purchase Vista ready products, or well anything newly manufactured.
Also I think you should contact the company of your card for perhaps instructions for a firmware update or replacement.
