Brilliant case, much better than the original in my opinion (while the original was great to start with). Did you know the initial name was Cosmos Sport? I expect to see this baby in real life when I visit CeBIT on march 5 and 9. My own Cosmos 1000 mod (Protoss) will be on display there too.

When will Bit-Tech be visiting CeBIT ?

I have 4 harddisks in my Cosmos, and no problems with heat whatsoever. The key is having enough outtake fans so air will be pulled from the bottom, past the harddisks.

it looks like a BSG Cylon. This will probably my next case in follow up on my current dual wc Lian-li 70 case.

But I have just one question. Can it have a window in the door?

I was about to say the same thing. I have 3 Sata drives that are doing quite fine. So although a small drawback (most used drive reaches 53C) it is definitely not a severe one. My major annoyance of the old Cosmos is the design behind right side panel where there is no freedom to cable manage how you want due to lack of space between these bars and the panel. So the only way to cable manage is basically the way they intended it, which is quite messier than what I did, and then found the panel would not close properly, nor stay closed.

Slight wording problem in the article

    Last page:
"Either way, the temperatures for the Cosmos S are less than we could have hoped for "

Do you mean "Either way, the gains in temperature reduction for the Cosmos S are less than we could have hoped for", as what you wrote is actually that the temperatures in the Cosmos S are lower than you could have hoped for, implying it has amazing cooling.

Good review though, v. pretty case, if crazy packaging.

"Either way, the temperatures for the Cosmos S are less impressive than we could have hoped for "

    Fixed for clarity.

isnt that the case that you had some news some time ago that it would fit a rad in the top? if my memroy serves me correct please test out if that actually works, if not ignore, anyway, good review, the case looks like it has some potential, just too much plastic on it.

Maybe I just didn't read the review carefully enough, but to me it seems just like the original stacker with some shapes slapped on the outside of the case. I don't like it at all.

hehe the case addiction striking again!

Nice review, I like the color of the case more but I still think I'm going to have to pass on this one.

What about test to see if the 120.3 radiator actually fits in the top?

Looking at the product page here (click on the pic showing the fans up top), I'd say that's a no. It looks to only fit HWLabs compatible footprints.

Edit: Well, at least without cutting on it, they won't. ;)
