    Guys,

    We've known about this for a while, but today is the first day we can really tell anyone. Nicky (wife) and I had our 12 week baby scan today, and all is good. We're having a baby! Due date is 4th of september :D

    Very excited! Just need to clean the 'spare room' out now. (spare? my computers.. arghh!)

    You can get a 3d ultrasound done - the're about as safe as a regular ultrasound, and the quality is really good, well, similar to a camera phone video in dim light. If he's a boy you'll be able to tell clear as day! And it's really cool to be able to see the baby's face :eeek: I got a 3d one at 21 weeks and he looks really good, there's one part where he seems to open an eye :eeek: The quality goes down when they move around but you can still make it out and it sharpens up when they stay still for a second or two. They've got to adjust the gamma of the output video, cos it's all yellow/orange - maybe one day i'll re-encode it...
