I've just pulled myself away from Patapon, a rhythm based game for the PSP. Basically, the Patapons were a happy bunch (of a Playstation Circle with legs) until their 'holy one' took a sabbatical. The Zigatons came along to rain on their parade and now you (the 'Almighty') must drum up the courage to lead them across sideways scrolling landscapes, battling foes and causing precipitation, amongst other things. I've only managed to get up to the point where I need to find the rain-causing drum so I can cross the desert. I'm guessing it lies with defeating the level 3 dragon. So far, it's great fun. The graphic design is much the same as Locoroco and the pick up and play nature of it should keep me coming back. I hope it's not as short as Locoroco was though. Apparently there are a few minigames to find, too (the one where you blow a trumpet to the tune the trees sings is fairly basic, but fun). Anyone else tried this yet? What do you reckon to it? Pon-Pon-Pata-Pon!
Yeah it's good fun. I'm at the same part as you. I got them all roasted in the desert, need that other drum Do you find yourself saying the rhythyms after you've played it?
pata pata pata pon as for the rain dance, you need to stand next to the post on the first hunting ground lvl that has the symbles down. and do the rhythm that is written down the post.
Aye, sussed that out last night, but I haven't had the time to play it again yet to get past the desert level. Chaka Chaka Pata Pon!
Yeah this game is very fun. I tried playing this game and I really had a blast. Patapataponpon.hehehe
