What now I'm going to do is to cut rectangle hole for motherboard I/O panel in rear cube panel... everything is already sketched:)
Some of those LINES are now mine, it was my little daughter, she took over the pen when I went for sth to drink.. it was just about 8 seconds.....:eeek::wallbash:

As you can see I also drew the hole for PSU... also to be cut...

This just keeps getting better:rock: Fine work on the plastic.
Your weather looks like mine in Colorado - wait an hour and it will change. Love spring.

Thank you all guys! It's great to hear that you like my work..

OK, so I cut out that PSU hole plus mobo I/O panel. Both are rough, need to be sanded and polished now. So leaving you with last 2 pictures of it, going back upstairs to finish this beauty...

I always loved cubes, I saw other project like this, based on CUBE the movie. I like your cube, but I think you sent too much time on planning, instead of taking dremel in your hands:)
I hope we gonna see more improvements soon!?!?!?

    THE THING !!!

OK. I think it is time to show you something huge compare to all previous updates.. Something that will take your breath away (well.. took mine :hehe: )

Something that will show you the whole idea why I wanted to create that cube, pure acrylic cube. Considered by many as the hardest material to mod…

ARE YOU READY TO SEE IT ??? !!! CAN YOU HANDLE THE TRUTH ??? !!! :eeek:

WILL YOU BE ABLE TO LIVE AFTER YOU SEE IT??? !!! HAAA ???? WILL YOU ??? !!!!!! :naughty:

(...ok.. I think I pushed it too far… :eeek: anyway...)

    . . . ARE YOU READY ? ? ? ! ! ! :dremel::dremel::jawdrop::jawdrop:

    OK...
Some things need to be explained here...

1 - FYI - When you go back a few pages you will see that I explained why I'm using those rectangle washers - they are NOT permanent - I had to use sth to fill they gap between main panel and head of the bolts - in the future I will add a red decoration panels, didnt want to cut the bolt just to fit them nicely...
2 - top panel is not screwed yet, will be done later, now I needed it to be easy to take off...
3 - radiator feet will be cut to shape later on, so they won't stick out from that radaitor back plate...
4 - front panel is not screwed to the end - I mean again - no washers there so there will be a main front red acrylic panel soon...
5 - mobo tray is not screwed to the cubic columns, not yet... I needed it to be easly taken out...

And the last thing - it is not finished yet:)
I would like to put all the parts inside and enjoy the view but I have to do some more moves. I need to drill holes for bolts for PSU, cut a hole for a fillport, cut holes for graphic card, cut a main hole for radaitor exhaust and create a nice grill for it, prepare front red panel, cut a hole for dvd slot-in, which I need to buy...
There are things I need to do before I'm gonna run this whole stuff inside my sweet cube:) Don't worry, it's gonna be a lot faster than before, well I work in 4 shifts pattern and today started first day so that means you will see another big move in next 3-4 days...

Looking good so far, you're doing well :dremel: . Great job on shaping the acrylic by hand - I feel your pain!

Oh, and nice work on the project log - easy to follow and lots of wonderful pics and sketchup renders - just how we like it!

I look forward to seeing more. :)
