Hoping to get the drive bay adapters built up with the fans and get the rad dont this weekend, may even go nuts and cut the hole for the rad in the bottom!
Was hoping the acrylic would be here to keep me busy :(

Right finaly had the acrylic and some spare time to get cracking.
Went in to work Friday armed with my case which I had marked up for cutting. And my selection of acrylic.
Theres a band saw at work so the constant 1way movement of the blade would be alot safer than using a jig saw.

1st up the case all marked up for some cutting

Thanks to by wonder for the templates.....

Then got the drill out with a 114mm hole saw and set to it.

The masking tape actualy helped keep the pilot in place which was nice.

Now Ive got the holes in place to mount the rad Ill jump to me trial fitting
the rad. These fans are just for the mock up and will not be used in the final build.
So these are just for (and me) to have an idea of what it will look like when finished.

    -----------------------------

Right now time for the acrylic.
I ordered quite abit, various sizes as Ive never worked with acrylic before and Im expecting some mistakes. So be gentle Im no Tribal! :D

The bandsaw.... This made life alot easier :D

    The rad cuts......

I didnt take many photos whilst actualy working sorry

But here are some shots of the pieces in place still safely covered in tape!

Some of the pics still have rough masking tape in them but the acrylic is nice underneath!

I just love PA 120.3's. You got some serious cooling capability there. I stuck a CoolingWorks triple rad in a V2K, so I know how cool it looks when you're all done with it. Nice chassis, and even better work with it. You have some patience, looking at the acrylic work. Good luck on the build!

    Thanks guys!

I did take my time with the acrylic, I dont think I could have done it any better for the 1st time Ive worked with it.
Still need to tweak afew parts for cable routing ect but I just thought you would like to see what Ive been upto.

Im planning hose routing too now as I will need this to be spot on as the floor will need to be modded so Im just playing with ideas at the moment.

Also have the lovely task of brading all the wires for the fans ect and making extensions so boring stuff to be done now.

Ill update soon, thanks again for your comments.

I think that looks really cool, although i take you are going to hide the lights into the case rather than having them just there?

Just make sure the lights go back on the bike - that's important unless you have others:clap:
