    me like :)

its clean, simple, and it performs. i think the biggest reason y it didnt cool as much as expected was due to the metal mesh in the front panel. nothing that a dremel cant fix :p its solid black, and its, well, solid. not a bad price either.

if i need another case, i definitely pick this one up. and start cutting holes left n right to make it even sweeter

this looks like exactly the case i've been looking for. clean, simple, fairly small, open insides. hopefully somebody in canada will sell it.

Looks like a nice case, but as you say, not awesome performance. How much is it?

I think the price is the deciding factor on this case.

But i do have to say the MS Wordart on the front page of their website is a little off putting, i thought people were over that way back in '95.

If it's under £50 then I reckon I'll be getting a new case.
ANy more than that and I'll stick with my cheapo special.

I don't suppose there's a hint as to the price is there? I need something I can bung loads of harddrives in, and with two 120's they should stay cool, but it just needs to be cheap...

Do the Lian Li drive covers fit and match this case?

the cheapest lian-li midtowers are ~50£ so the Lancool (there el cheapo brand) will probably be less.

I adore the clean lines on the case! and it reminds me of the big black monolith at the start of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Its calling to me and i need to get one for my headless Media Server / router.

Silly name tho :p hehe....boned

Looks very much like a Lian Li.

    Nice though.

The Lancool brand is there to distingush between the all aluminium lian li cases and the steel chassis/aluminium exterior Tpanels of the new sub brand, and s the article isn't explicit about the difference between a lian li and a lancool, mentioning the brushed aluminium outer shell, and light weight may lead some people to assume a similar all aluminium construction to its parent brand.

Nice article though on a promising looking case if the price is right (read cheap :naughty:)

I've got to love how you guys go on about it having a "great wire management system".... then just not use it at all. Eh, there's only so many hours in the reviewing day, I suppose.

    Checkout the 'optional extras'

The Thermometer and Card reader are just lian-li items. You can even still see the logo.

Looks very Lian-Li-esque, which is nice, they might have something good if they keep prices down.

Haha, Futurama jokes aside the case does look quite nice. It kinda looks like the younger brother of the Lian-Li PC-A70b (catchy name innit? see here if you don't know the case in question: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112141&Tpk=pc+a70b )
I've been wanting an A70b for a while now but 250$ is a bit steep, well that and I'm having trouble justifying the full tower when I'm not running any sort of extreme serverish set up, I'll definitely try and look in to the K7 when it becomes available.
