Photos Pic i wish i could submit to POTM...

    As everyone is submitting lovely pictures of sunsets i just had to post this one that i took back in 2001. It's overlooking the Troodos mountain range in Cyprus.

    Believe it or not i took it with a Pentax Optio S40 Compact camera. Just put it in night mode, rested it on a log and used a timer. The water is just a huge puddle - it had been raining all day.

    It's one of my all time favorite shots. Just wish i had had a SLR back then!

    I took this a couple of weeks ago. One of the first times I have used my polariser. I'm just a mere mortal compared to your shots yoda :)

    Aww I just love these (nordic? or is it like this all over?) really early spring / summer mornings when the clouds are colored pink underneath and everything smells fresh and dawning :)

    Yeah. Me too. Especially when there is a bit of mist in the air. And everything is so quiet. Walking in the city early in the morning is pretty nice in the summer as well. City just waking up, newly hosed sidewalks, and generally little people in the streets.

    There's a Simpsons episode where Homer is completely obsessed with TV after Lenny buys a huge flat-screen TV and Homer stays there for days on end watching it. :) Just a commentary joke ;)
