You re seeing my 10-minute lasting setup after i bought my 24" and before i sold the two 19" babies.
Left to right:

• laptop (generic toshiba lappie from work)
• 19" Sony, coupled to lappie
• ghetto PC build in background, mod in progress
• 24" Yuraku
• 19" sony screen #2, coupled to PC

 

my setup for the next few weeks:


from left to right:
chopped up empty case, my main system in peices on a shelf, my brothers computer which i have stolen, 360 controller, 24" benq, toilet paper (i didn't put it there, i swear), fileserver, penguin chicks watercolor, printer, old non-functioning dell, ps2 slim

 

Where I've spent my 2nd year of uni ^

 

Is that a pull down projector screen across the top of the opening, I can't tell. If it is, that would make for one awesome dorm room.

how do you like your 24inch screen (screen cheesecake, but cheesecake is a lie!!!)

 

Love it, only been with it an hour, but writing a paper I have to research for; its nice to be able to have word and firefox open side by side full size.

 

Exam on saturday, so obviously I had to spend all of today tidying my room. Grabbed some pics to remind myself what it can look like! (And for bit-tech, obviously). Click for big, sorry for grainy cameraphone.


Bed and play area The painting behind the TV was done entirely with spray cans, very impressive to watch. No new-school consoles cos I haven't shelled out yet - may pick up a 360 after the summer. The GH controllers currently get more use than the bass


Left to right: Shoes, drink, township guitar, shelves of many things (violin and cthulhu on top, more drink, many books, some junk food, ikea storage boxes, soft drink and magazine shelf), big CD rack with mad cow disease, washing, more CD racks, second wardrobe with stereo and 'strategic high command' light (gives the place a nice ominous red glow)


Where I spend far too much of my time lately. Bottom left you can see the 1l stein that keeps me hydrated, and the pringles and JD that reverse it. Desk with extra red button added just in case. Sub flanked by old sub and shoebox for footrests. Frying pan clock up high. Dalek eggcup/pillbox and newton's cradle on right, above poseable hand fixed to drawers. Oh, and a computer too

 

Looks like the ones I've got from Zante, they're great.

 

There was a guy doing those in Cardiff a couple of years back, Mum bought me one as a birthday present and I've been meaning to find a frame for it for ages.

Was really interesting watching him use old paint lids and other junk (ripped card and so on) as masks to make these fantastic pictures.

 

Yeah, I've got a painting like that I got in San Fransisco, watched the guy make it, absolutly amazing O_O
It's been in a frame downstairs since I got it because my new room wasn't ready. This thread reminded me to get it and put it up here somewhere
