Nice to see you're supporting bit-tech's advertisers :(

You remember, the guys that pay the bills and keep the site going and free to access for all...

No no no, didn't you know that if you don't click adverts it doesn't make any difference??? :wallbash:

I like the new design, especially the link colours are nice and clear, but had to disable JavaScript, because the crazy story scroller was ravaging my poor 1.7G PM CPU :(.

My ads are on but i dont know why they don't show up with the Sniping tool, in ABP they have been enabled.

On a side note tho, trying to get onto the ste has been a nightmare, its super slow and unresponsive. But it seems its sorted itself out.

I made sure that by disabling javascript the site would be as it previously was.

Yep, it works fine without JS - just thought I'd let you know (perhaps it's time for that new PC now ;) )

I liked being able to scroll down for comments on the news items. Now I have to do a whole other click :(

Not sure I get what you mean? News comments are still underneath the stories the way they always have been. Unless of course your referring to "Industry News"?

the featured articles thing looks kinda weird, maybe if you could make sure the stories fit in the box it would look a bit better.

    edit: sorry, 'fruit machine'

Yeah I was going to mention some things not really fitting in the fruit machine, could be tweaked by 5px or so.

After two days of it I'm in favour of the change, will take me a while to get used to the colour changes though :p

I had this with IE7 Earlier.

    I can't check now though - I'm at work with IE6, and it's ok.

The fruit machine is getting annoying. I gave it some time thinking that I would start ignoring it but usually when I visit I read the news links. The fruit machine takes a moment to load and start sliding, which makes the links jump up when the featured articles list collapses. Would it be possible to have the page load up with the featured article list already shrunken down to the height that the fruit machine wants it to be at?

I never much cared for the featured article list in the first place when they first showed up. I usually read all of the articles from the main listing; I don't need to see them listed again in a little box. It used up precious news article link space!
