The only thing I can think of that this will have insperation from is the "Claudia Unit" from the anime Last exile.
I tried to find some images but no luck but here is an explanation of what it is.

"An all-encompassing term for aerial propulsion systems using Claudia. Aside from those used in vanships, all units are under the Guild's control and are maintained by specialists who are sent from the Guild. If a ship accumulates a certain degree of damage during battle, the unit will dissociate and return to the Guild (you see this happening in Ep 01 for a damaged Deusis ship). AKA Claudia Units."

And as we all know Filimon cant do bad work, so it´s just to sit back and enjoy the ride.

I think it's a first for me on here, but Subscribed!

Your past work is simply stunning (Even my Fiancee, who knows nothing about PC's drooled over the Steampunk Mouse)

Yay! More Filimon! Just loving that custom dial! And a very interesting use of a drawer/cupboard handle. I can only assume that this will be the main case, housing the components...

It is a very nice example of steampunk. However I'd be inclined to keep the original dials of the voltmeters and stain them slightly with a dilute tea sollution. Add some warm white LEDs for lighting.
