We had hacked satellite with all the channels when I was young so I'd say about 10 years old when I wondered across the "educational" ones. When I was in 8th grade my mom bought me a "Sex for Dummies" book despite the fact that I had already done it lol. I wasn't about to tell her that though.
Yeah i wouldn't have told her you already bought it either. It would have probably just hurt her feelings.
and that is why no-one ever hears a kid ask "why?" "why?" "why?" "how come?" "why?" sorry, couldn't resist
about 7/8, i believe it was a playground rumour that dads were inclined to put their willy's in mum's fannies. 'EEERGH! why'
Man, way to take the fun out of this. We were hoping for all of the stupid answers like that time the older sibling's bathing suit fell off in the pool and you freaked out wonder what that is/n't between his/her legs! and stuff like that.
i have heard of those kind of things happining but being an only child until 12 it didnt happen, however the neighbours has a daughter my age (btw there should be a winking face pic thing)
Probably in primary school, from my mates, not a great explanation but kinda introduced me to the concept
Can't remember how old I was tbh - I do remember it was something to do with meeting your mum..... Oh come on, 2 pages in and not a single "ur mum" joke? I'm agahst, ashamed, and probably in the company of people far more mature than I, but screw you guys!
Like all mysteries are solved these days - almighty google No, really, i believe it was somewhere around 5th-6th grade, when all the boys in my class suddenly switched their area of interest from pokemons to female body parts
Huh, read through the thread, musta missed that one. You still lose though, for demonstrating that you use less than 40 posts per page - since we all know less than 40 is for sissies and mac users.
It wasn't explained to us in my primary school (maybe I was off that day lol), and from what I remember my mum explained it all that summer before Secondary school started, thanks Mum
the first time i ever heard of the sex-thing was in kindergarten and i was, as far as i can remember, quite shoked. i think it was too early..
I don't think that its REALLY something that you just pick up... we do have evolutionary knowledge, as showcased in assassins creed, and even your local duck pond. For example, when a duck is born, it knows how to swim. There is very little learning process, the knowledge is in their DNA. While we like to think of ourselves as advanced, we are animals, and the desire to breed is in our genetic makeup. We don't "learn" to breed, we just know we really want to when the time comes (puberty). Just my thoughts on the matter.
Good point though. But children ask questions according to their level of understanding. They ask why the sun shines, not what nuclear fusion is. Just as people were expecting a psychological pedantic elaboration explanation from me, they were expecting you to come in and lower the tone to the appropriate level. I love seeing a pro at work...
The only thing lowering to the appropriate level is ur mom. Sorry, I had to do it, someone needed to. Rest assured no mothers are lowering to that level (at least none of ur mums). Oh man I gotta stop myself.
