Is this game anygood, is it very demanding system spec wise (I have 2GB, AMD 3800+ and a 7900GT). Wheres the cheapest to purchase it? Thanks alot!
Its and amazing game. Its not very demanding (used the source engine) and if your buying it either get orange box on steam $40 or spend $20 on it alown (not recomended as for a extra $20 you get half life 2, ep1, ep2 and portal)
Hi there, I currently have Half Life 2, I know this is probably gaming blasphemy but I dont really enjoy single player games, I just bought it for CS:S. Should I purchase it from Steam?
well its about £15 to buy the disk, then all that dose it add it to steam and save some downloading, or $20 on steam so in the end they will be close in price.
It's a awsome game, tons of fun and you don't have to be amazing to get into the gameplay,i 've played it for maybe 10 hours total only, but it's damn fun, and i was doing relatively well considering my first time playing.
The cheapest and best thing to do is just grab the whole Orange Box pack off Steam I think. That way you get Half-Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, Portal, Half-Life 2 Deathmatch and Team Fortress 2 for around £30. It's that or £15 for Team Fortress 2 alone on Steam and even if you don't like the Half-Life games then Portal is worth a look and Half-Life 2 Deathmatch will make a change from TF2.
Orange Box doesn't include HL2DM, or the disc version doesn't anyway, but you can get it for free from http://www.steampowered.com/ati_offer1a/ or http://www.steampowered.com/nvidia/
cmon guys bumpy bumpy what with the pyro new weapons please bring back flame grenades or something similar.
Its now 699, and i've been playing css for about 3 - 4 years... Usually i come home, do homework, play for an hour, eat dinner, play for another hour or two, go out, come home, play for an hour or two before bed. Now that its the summer i'll be playing more too, especially since im rebuilding my pc It's not an issue because if i want to i can stop playing and find other things to do. It isn't an addiction, as im not obsessed, i just enjoy playing I would play tf2 more, but its less fun without friends on teamspeak or ventrilo to talk and play with.
FFFFFFfffff we need to sort out a bit-tech clan/server then i would play with you guys exclusively as
Thread revival! Just got this last night and loving it, but it's damned hard to get used to as everyone seems so good Using the tips links/youtube videos listed on the steam TF2 site... Does anyone have any tips? Anyone here playing this? We should play together!
I may start playing again soon, but to be honest, I got kinda bored of it before it even came out of Beta. I much prefer CSS.
Bought this off Steam last week after I sold my 360 versions months ago - awesome game. One of my favourite online shooters.
TF2 is great fun and in amongst all the carnage is some very humours quotes from the cartoon characters. The pyros muffled voice makes me chuckle everytime I here it. Great entertainment value. Practice with the demo class, he's a bit rude when you know how to play him. Can chew through most other classes Kung-fu.
